She has proudly served Floyd County through numerous civic, educational, and community organizations, including:

• Vice President, Saint Mary’s Board of Education
• Board Member, New Albany First Independent Business Alliance
• Founder and Organizer of IndieFest, celebrating local businesses, artists, and musicians in downtown New Albany
• Cub Scout Leader for four years
• Secretary, Vice President, and President of the Floyd County Democratic Women’s Club
• Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Floyd County Democratic Central Committee
